Water your birds this Winter.

The birds need water all year long.  Here's an easy
way to help them out.  Purchase an outdoor electric dog water dish.  There are heaters that you can purchase to put into your birdbath but I find this easier and less expensive.  The birds love it!
With a couple of inches of snow on the ground and more on the way, they really appreciate it.  You'll notice that we have set ours on a stump that the birds love climbing on.

    Agree with the other poster--so glad the blog has resumed! Love reading about the things you share with us: recipes, scenes in towns, local events, garden and barn life, little glimpses into lovely days. A great escape...and I've learned a few things too!
