I've often heard children say, "There's nothing to do today". I beg to differ. I'd like to inspire you to do something. Anything. Read. Bake. Hike. Fish. Plant. Sail. Climb. Play. Reach. Move. Laugh. Dream; and take time to sit with me on The Old Granite Step.

A foggy morning in the garden.

It's been unusually hot this summer so I didn't expect

to wake up to the fog earlier this week.  Fog Magic just happens to be my favorite child's book so I am always delighted to see the fog!
The fog was literally "rolling in".

The foggy haze seemed to stop time.
 Dewey spider webs were everywhere!

The raised beds are surrounded by Queen Anne's Lace.
Gone as quick as it shows up.  Slowly disappearing.
“A thin grey fog hung over the city, and the streets were very cold; for summer was in England.”
Rudyard Kipling
